Listen To The Senate - You can now
listen to live Senate Hearings, Floor Sessions, and Press Conferences over
the Internet. To listen to Senate proceedings you need to have speakers
and a sound card installed on your computer plus you need to download Windows Media Player. Click on LISTEN to hear today's Senate proceedings.
Senate Television - The State
Senate televises all the Senate Floor Sessions, most Senate Committee Hearings,
and many Senate Press Conferences. This programming is available to the
downtown Sacramento area through Comcast Cable's Capitol Channels (Senate
on channels 91 and 92, Assembly on 93 and 94) and it is available statewide
to most cable subscribers through the California Channel. The California
Channel can be viewed from 9:00am to 3:45pm, Monday through Friday.
The California Channel website (www.calchannel.com) also offers live and archived webcasts of Legislative proceedings.
